Lois Erwin, director of the Delta Bridge Project for Coahoma County, MS, met with Reggie Howell, president and sole owner of the Mississippi Delta Railroad, to discuss an excursion from Clarksdale to the Hopson Commissary to generate additional tourism taxes for the county.

The Delta Bridge Project has completed its general conferences and Phase II has commenced with the goals committees meeting independently.
Joe Webb, chief operations officer at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center and the DBP steering committee chairman, says the project will only succeed with the concerted effort of the public at large.

The Delta Bridge Project shifts back to the Pinnacle at 5:30 p.m. today, as the goal teams delve more deeply into the five pillars set forth when the DBP got under way in 2010.
“The goal teams will review the objectives and goals they have been working on and refine them,” says DBP director Lois McMurchy-Erwin. “Each team will have a facilitator to help them in the process.”
