A Nevada ethanol production company signed a letter of intent with the Helena-West Helena-Phillips County Port Authority on Thursday night to build a $185 million plant that would produce 108 million gallons of ethanol annually.

The Delta Bridge Project, which has about 300 citizens involved, has been ongoing, and the steering commity members were on hand at Phillips College Monday night to be updated on the progress of carious projects within the area. Phillips County Chamer of Commerce Executive Director Tom Turner presented a power point production explaining the bio-diesel feasibility study has been completed.

Here are some of the primary goals outlined in six major areas to bring improvements to Phillips County. The entire plan includes 46 goals and 190 steps to accomplish those goals.
