Southern Bancorp is offering special low interest loans to assist teachers become nationally board certified.
Their effort is an incentive to encourage teachers to achieve national board certification through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS), which is deemed as the highest level of certification for determining accomplished teachers. It also helps by taking the financial load off teachers so they can pursue their professional goals.
