Trail plan unveiled for the city

Freiwald introduced the Greenway Master Plan at Tuesday night’s Helena-West Helena City Council meeting. Freiwald worked with the Advertising & Promotions Commission, the city and the Delta Bridge project, Helena Regional Medical Center and Delta AHEC to develop a master trails and greenway plan.

According to Julia Nordsieck, of Southern Bancorp, this project began with an availability assessment that Delta AHEC led about 2 years ago with the American Association of Retired Persons.
