Susan Smith

With over 27 years of executive leadership at community banks, Susan Smith currently serves as a financial consultant. Previously, she has had 16 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer at a $1.5 billion Arkansas bank and experience as an Executive Vice President for Corporate Strategy for Simmons Bank, a multi-state publicly traded bank. Her experience includes executive oversight of mortgage, retail banking and consumer lending functions. She is also very involved in community work, serving as a board member for the Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation; the Downtown Little Rock Partnership, which works to strengthen downtown business, cultural and residential community; Arkansas Commitment, which provides college preparatory assistance to academically talented African American high school students in Central Arkansas; and CHI St. Vincent’s health care system serving more than 1 million Arkansans.
