Jim Franks has had a distinguished career in both the legal and banking fields. After graduating from law school and working in private legal practice, Franks joined his family-owned bank, the Bank of Prescott, where he served in a variety of positions over nearly three decades, ranging from General Counsel to Chief Credit Officer and eventually Chief Operating Officer. He later joined First National Bankers Bank, where he rose to the position of President of the Arkansas Region before retiring. Franks is a graduate of Henderson State University, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law, and the Graduate School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He is licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of the State of Arkansas, as well as the United States District Court and United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.
