Hernando, Miss. – Southern Bancorp today announced the promotion of Carrah Grandi to Assistant Vice President. Grandi focuses on consumer lending in the DeSoto County market, and has been with Southern Bancorp since 2010.

With a banking career that spans nearly 25 years, Grandi has held several positions with Southern Bancorp, a Community Development Financial Institution, including serving as a personal banker and branch manager. A Memphis native, she attended the University of Tennessee and has called Hernando home since 2000. She is an active volunteer in the community, including serving as a Hernando Chamber of Commerce Ambassador since 2006.
