Blytheville, Ark. – Southern Bancorp has announced the promotion of Jennifer Williams to Senior Vice President and Regional Deposit Operations Director of the Central Region. In her new role, Williams will oversee the deposit operations for all of the branches in the region.
Williams brings to the position 33 years of experience in the banking industry. In 2009, she assumed the role of Regional Deposit Operations Manager for the Southern Bancorp branches in Mississippi County. She later held the same position for the offices in Arkansas County and Lockesburg, Ark., when Southern acquired the locations in 2021.
Williams began her new role over the Central Region on June 1.
